Free lesson 1 of 10 from Kali Linux for Beginners — Install Kali, learn the toolset, and build a safe legal home lab. No account, no card.
Kali Linux is a Debian-based Linux distribution built and maintained by Offensive Security specifically for security work — penetration testing, digital forensics, and network defence. It's ordinary Linux under the hood, but it ships with hundreds of security tools already installed and configured so you don't have to hunt them down one by one.
Kali is a tool, not a magic hacking button. It doesn't break the law for you and it won't make you a hacker overnight. What it does is put a professional toolbox on your desk. This beginner course teaches you to set it up, find your way around, and operate it safely and legally — the deep exploitation lives in our advanced tracks.
There are no videos. You learn by reading the theory, seeing the tools and the method, then doing it yourself. Every lesson ends with a challenge and a Show solution you open only if you get stuck. That's how it sticks.
⚖️ For authorized, legal use only — practise on your own lab or systems you own.
